UNICEF in partnership with EnviroChallenge will host the first of three Kiwi Climate Workshops this Saturday, 29th August in Wellington.
Young people (under 18) are welcome to come along and hear Government and academic experts discuss climate change issues between 11.30am – 3.30pm on Saturday 29 August at UNICEF NZ, Level 1, PSA House, 11 Aurora Terrace, Wellington.
SEATS ARE LIMITED SO PLEASE RSVP TO takeaction@unicef.org.nz BY WEDNESDAY 26TH AUGUST TO SECURE A PLACE AT THIS FREE EVENT.

If anyone wanting to know more about climate change, we have a document here that outlines more causes than most people will admit to.
The main cause to study is: find out on the net the average degrees Kelvin that a nuclear bomb caused at Hiroshima, an estimate of course, then go to a measurements and capacities converter on the net and convert that to either Fahrenheit, or to Celcius, both would be better, then multiply that tempeature (around millions of degrees in anyone’s language), multiply that by an estimate of how many atmospheric tests and strikes in anger have happened since Australia’s 2-3 tests and the test in New Mexico USA that truman said was ok to go ahead with. Then multiply that figure by 2, that to take into account nuclear guns and other obnoxious horrors such as is found on the net from time to time, often, veterans’ ideas, Serbia, Iraq, etc. Then, add on around .5% to cover the atomospheric changes due to undeground and undersea “tests” etc.
Then, do some dividing as per the effect, and do add in potential ionosphere h.a.a.r.p. etc., and other potential nasties. The Ozone Layer also has, because of thinning, is adding in some sort of problem with the suns’ rays let in more and more, both in the Antarctic and Arctic, etc.
Can you see my point? These things are actually the MAIN CAUSE of the Greenhouse effect, not the only one, we have a document here that outlines 9 main causes, there’s more.
I do have a question: can anyone tell myself why Carbon Dioxide that is natural to all breathing creatures’ OUTBREATH, it’s good for the trees since they naturally transpirate some various natural elements in the air, and that green things tend to convert that into oxygen and other lovely things for ourselves and all other airbreathing things, to breath a nice balance.
Yet, so far in my limited investigations, no-one seems worried about carbon MONOXIDE: That’s in car fumes, aircraft fumes, etc., anything that burns those mineral oils as in these processes. Carbon Dioxide is never as nasty as Carbon Monoxide, as far as I can tell, since Carbon Monoxide is almost unnatural; yet in my limited explorations on the Net, no-one has compared these two things in relation to the air pollution and Greenhouse effect. Growing trees certainly will help, and help a lot.
And, this is quite serious, please email myself back about the Carbon Dioxide and Carbon Monoxide, as I really do not understand much about chemistry, and so forth. The Carbons, though, in the nuclear problems, of course, that is full of Carbon. Is it partly Carbon Monoxide, or some other nasty?
Thank you, and I’d be happy to email my document about the 9 main causes of the Greenhouse Effect. Nb: when doing your mathematics, estimates wise, do not forget the molten part of the Ground 0 does not go away, and can take many years, even 1,000 years, to cool down.
